The Aim Leon Dore x New Balance 550 Olive is a neutral based colorway of the popular lifestyle shoe designed by the New York clothing brand. The 550 model was brought back by Aim Leon Dore in 2020 when Teddy Santis, ALDs founder and lead designer, found the shoe while combing through New Balances archives for design inspiration. On the Olive colorway, details include a cream perforated leather construction with contrasting brown N branding on either side of the shoe. Olive green 550 branding appears on the forefoot and dual Aim Leon Dore and New Balance branding is located on the heel of the left and right shoe, respectively. Additional olive accenting comes into play on the leather overlay on the collar, the trim on the sides near the midsole, and on the New Balance 550 details on the tongue.
