Structured heel cradle prevents hyperextension injuries
The New Balance 550 Syracuse is a colorway of the vintage basketball shoe that is inspired by the Syracuse Oranges team uniforms. While in no way affiliated with the college basketball team, the Syracuse nonetheless nods to the school by featuring its team uniform colors on its design. The shoe has a white leather construction with contrasting orange 550 branding on the forefoot and tonal N detailing on either side. Orange NB branding appears on the heel and old school New Balance 550 insignia can be found on the tongue. Underfoot, the shoes chunky, aged midsole is paired with a black and orange rubber outsole.
