The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 990 v2 Sand Be the Time is a collaboration by the renowned sneaker designer on the popular lifestyle shoe in a colorway inspired by the sand dunes of Southern Utah. After collaborating with New Balance on the 2002R and 574 Yurt models, Bembury renewed his partnership with the Boston footwear company on the New Balance 990 v2 Sand Be the Time, a special colorway with an outdoors-inspired vibe. The shoes eye-catching design features a Peach-colored open-cell mesh base with tonal hairy suede overlays. A purple chenille N logo appears on either side of the shoe. A tonal Salehe Bembury branded tab is found on the lateral side of the collar and New Balance 990 Made in USA detailing is embroidered on the tongue.
